Are We Ready for the Heat? Exploring Climate Adaptation Needs in the Mediterranean 20 September 2023 - 18:00-19:45 CET

The European Institute of the Mediterranean is organizing a hybrid dialogue discussion on climate adaptation needs in the Mediterranean Basin.  The panel will focus on climate change impacts on natural resources and society, and consequently, the areas where adaptation is crucial to prevent potential damages arising from climate disruptions and to maintain the integrity of our societies, ecosystems, and environment while seizing opportunities. In addition, the dialogue questions the readiness and capacities of the Mediterranean countries.  RICCAR climate change projections will be presented in order to highlight the adaptation priorities for MENA and Mediterranean countries and communities around the basin.

This inaugural dialogue of the Med Dialogues 2030 series takes place at the CaixaForum Macaya, Pg. de Sant Joan, 108, Barcelona. Free entrance with prior registration.
