Seminar on Role of Climate Action in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

The seminar will be organized as part of the 44th annual meeting of the  Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB Group).

Ms. Carol Choucahni Cherfane, Chief of Water Resources Section at ESCWA is contributing to the seminar through an intervention on the relationship between water and climate change in the Arab regional context.

The seminar aims to highlight successful experiences from the Arab region on how to address climate change challenges and provides a platform for information sharing and exchange with the multilateral development banks and development partners. The seminar thus highlights linkages between climate change action and the achievement of the SDGs.
