Integrated Vulnerability Assessment Application on the Lebanese Agricultural Sector

Description

This Technical Report presents the study assessing the vulnerability of the Lebanese agricultural sector to climate change with a focus on water availability for crops. Based on the methodology developed to conduct the RICCAR integrated vulnerability assessment and using the ArcGIS software, vulnerability maps displaying current and potential future vulnerabilities of this sector were produced, with information on adaptation measures. The appendix part also comprises all exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity indicators used in the study with their corresponding maps and detailed factsheets.

Access to RICCAR assessment findings and associated datasets is being made available on this Regional Knowledge Hub, which is comprised of two open-access components: a website and a data portal. This online platform complements, and builds upon, the findings and processes already presented in the main report and its technical annex, as well as the series of publications that elaborate further on the work being pursued collectively under RICCAR.
